Using the website and free resource

The site does not use advertising trackers or set analytics cookies. The readiness check runs in your browser. Its answers are not sent to us or saved by the site, and are cleared when the page is reloaded. The PDF is offered as a welcome gift for joining our mailing list. To subscribe, you provide an email address and, optionally, your name, tick the consent box and confirm your subscription by email. We email the guide after confirmation and keep subscription, consent and delivery records. We do not receive the answers to the readiness check.

The hosting provider, Cloudflare, may process technical information such as your IP address and request details to deliver and protect the website. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for information about its services.

When you make an enquiry

The enquiry tool prepares an email in your own email application. The website does not submit the form to a server. If you choose to send the email, we receive the information you include, such as your name, email address, organisation, requirements and correspondence.

We use this information to respond, assess whether we can help and discuss or arrange services. Depending on the context, this is necessary to take steps at your request before a contract, to perform a contract, or for our legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries. We may retain records where required by law.

Sharing and retention

Information may be processed by providers supporting our email, hosting and business administration, and by professional advisers where needed. Information is not sold. Brevo processes email delivery and confirmed mailing-list contacts on our behalf. We store guide requests and consent records in a Cloudflare D1 database configured in the EU. Only visitors who confirm their marketing subscription are added to our Brevo mailing list. Brevo records delivery information and may record email opens and link clicks to help us monitor email delivery and engagement. Where providers process information outside the UK, appropriate safeguards are required. Guide delivery records are retained only as long as needed to deliver and support your request; mailing-list records are retained until you unsubscribe or the list is reviewed for inactivity. A minimal suppression record may be kept to honour an unsubscribe request. It is kept only as long as needed for the enquiry or business relationship, associated legal obligations or resolving disputes; the appropriate period depends on the nature of the record.

Marketing

The mailing-list signup includes a prominent, unticked consent box describing the practical insights, resources and consulting updates you are signing up to receive. The guide is a free welcome gift for confirmed subscribers. You join the mailing list only after opting in and confirming your email. The guide is then emailed to you. We record your choice, the consent wording, date and source so we can demonstrate consent. You can withdraw consent using the unsubscribe link in our marketing emails or by emailing contact@majurychangemanagement.com. You do not have to join the list to browse the site, use the readiness check or enquire about services. If you unsubscribe after joining, you keep the guide and do not pay a fee. We use consent as the lawful basis for these marketing messages. Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can request access to your personal information, correction, deletion or restriction, object to processing, or request portability. Contact us using the email above. You can also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office.
